VCE TUTORING
With 30 years of experience and a comprehensive understanding of the VCE curriculum, Robyn challenges her students to exceed their potential. Many of Robyn's students have received a perfect score of 50 for English and Premiers Awards. Over a 96% have achieved an English study score of above 40. The small sized advanced classes enable students to develop confidence in their ability to achieve academic excellence.
IB TUTORING
Over the last 10 years, Robyn has included IB literature tuition to her English schedule. Students in small classes (Yr 11 & Yr 12) are guided to achieve outstanding results in all components of the Literature course. Considerable attention is focused on skills for Commentary and Comparative Papers. Preparation and presentation for the orals are important components of the course.
ABOUT US
Our Story
Dr. Robyn has reached the highest level of academic excellence with her Ph.D. at Monash University. She excelled in academia as well as sport, representing Australia in Netball and coach at the elite level of 25 years. She is an outstanding communicator, having worked at University and Secondary levels including International Baccalaureate. Dr. Robyn exhibits empathy, understanding along with high expectations.
Our mission at The English Scholar is to foster a love of learning within students. Over the years Dr English's classes have produced more perfect scores than any school in Victoria and we strive to continue such success.
